A little bit about me:

I was always into sports, gym and physical activity. Injuries came along the way and serious ones which involved me being bed ridden at times for periods of weeks.

I saw chiropractors, shiatsu specialists, massage therapists who would give me a quick fix and then back to square 1. It was in 2017 where I met with Zainali Panjwani, an osteopath who specialises in functional food and medicine and has a keen interest in the gut microbiome.

Instead of getting my temporary ‘fix’, Zainali encouraged some small changes to my diet, lifestyle and mindset as well as getting to the core of my physical movements. A few changes and I am glad to say that I have not taken a day off work due to back pain since.

He found that majority of my issues were from my gut and coached me on what changes I needed to make and what my holistic approach to living should be.

I now feel the strongest I have ever been & this approach is now the very core of our brand Actihealth.

We decided to release a range of clean, well thought-out supplements to target specific areas of health & also coach the consumers on the lifestyle they should lead through a holistic approach.

Through the transformation I have seen, I don’t want anyone to suffer the way I did.

My favourite saying:

You assume you are a small entity, but enfolded within you is the entire universe.

My belief:

I used to believe that being fit & healthy were the same thing. After my experience, I now believe it’s not just how long we can run for but rather how many more years can we run for.

The holistic or integrative approach is the key to long-term well-being – Nutrition, mindset & exercise. If we can incorporate small changes in these 3 areas into our lives, we can really flourish & become the best version of ourselves.

There is no such thing as a magic pill, yes, a supplement can help support a healthy lifestyle but ultimately, it’s the lifestyle that counts.

My Daily Habit:

Two glasses of warm water first thing in the morning. I learned this from my grandad & have had this habit for over 24 years!
